When the word fashion is heard, we most often think of a catwalk where models where weird clothes created by fashion designers. But the truth is the fashion industry is broader than what most people see it. It is both an art and an industry that aims to provide one of basic needs of man, which is clothing, with style. In my opinion, it is always good to target man’s natural needs. My cousin is actually considering taking up a degree in fashion that can be found here: http://www.iadtsacramento.com/programs.asp and I think that it is a good move.
Fashion includes clothes, accessories and cosmetics. If you decide to take up a degree in fashion, you will learn the fundamentals of design and use them to create your own masterpieces. You will also learn how to market them and how to actually succeed in the field. Though I’ve known many who did not have any formal fashion education that still managed to succeed in this field, I strongly believe that a formal degree will a great advantage.
